Tax reporting (1099)
Calendar year 2026For payments made in 2026, a 1099-NEC is required once a creator is paid $2,000 or more in the year, up from $600 (OnPay summary of the 2025 law change). If [PROCESSOR] files 1099-K forms instead, its threshold is $20,000 and 200 transactions. Confirm which form applies with the accountant.

Who's on the platform, and who can do what.
Creators and campaign owners sign themselves up. Administrators join only by invitation, and every admin signs in with a second step (a code from an authenticator app).
Conflicts of interest
Staff can't hold creator accounts, and no one acts on items for a creator they're related to. A suspected staff account holds that creator's payouts until another admin resolves it.

No API yet? People enter the numbers, with proof and a record.
Choose where each platform's numbers come from. On manual platforms, creators report their views with a screenshot and a reviewer approves them, or your team enters counts directly or imports a spreadsheet. Manual counts run through the same budget, milestone, crowd-goal, and payout rules as automatic ones.

Automatic, with manual backup keeps the API running and also accepts manual counts during outages. Counts never go down: a lower number is logged and ignored. Jumps over 100,000 views need a second admin.

Turn on what you use. Turn off what you don't.
Turning a feature off hides it from owners, creators, and admins right away. Anything already running keeps working: a live crowd goal still pays out, and signed records stay. Core features are always on: campaigns, clip review, view verification, payouts, e-signatures, tax forms, and AML and KYC.
One goal, many creators, paid by share.
A crowd goal campaign sets one view target and one pool. Every creator who joins earns the pool times their counted views divided by the goal. Payouts run on their own after each refresh and go through the same safety checks as every other payment.

Milestone reached, checks passed, paid. No one has to press a button.
After every refresh, the platform checks each clip against its campaign's milestones. When verified views pass a milestone, the payment runs through the safety checks and goes straight to the creator's wallet in stablecoin, or to their bank by ACH.
Auto-pay settings
Larger payments wait for one admin approval. Anything over the daily limit pays automatically the next day. Turning auto-pay off queues every milestone until it's turned back on.
